LUCYNA SIEMIŃSKA

LUCYNA SIEMIŃSKA

BETWEEN THE ROOFS

there is a space for the sky
with glittering stars
between the roofs

you'd only raise your head
streighten your hunched back
to climb up strings of the light

to get yourself out of a melting pot
full of constant clatters
there between the roofs

there is a space for the sky
with more than million stars
and a place for dreaming

THE CONGLOMERATE

I have thought...
thinking helps to fill a void
it is like a pot of milk boiling over

everything is outside me
everything is inside me
both separated by the skin

you can’t bring parallel worlds together
opposable to each other amazingly
in one illusory opening of eyelids

in dead ends
thoughts meander like black cats
sometimes sitting down on doorsteps

THE MISERABLE END IN THE CITY

the streets are so empty without you
without your old case for petty cash
you used to say "pay what you will"

you counted every day - not for the nominal value
but for the quantity of tender hearts
yesterday the number was eight

you drew a hourglass clumsily
it was leaning slowly down just like you
untill your mutual infinity

"does the infinity mean the eternity"
someone asked philosophically
another one called for an ambulance

today the wind is whispering a melody
about the empty streets without you
though probably no one is mourning
